Caribbean World Cup Qualifiers: “Looking forward to next Qualifiers” – Darren

President of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), Captain Horace Burrell in a story carried a week ago in The Gleaner, said Mattocks was not selected for the World Cup Qualifiers due to “poor attitude”.

The 21-year-old striker who is on the rise is looking to break former Jamaican international Damani Ralph’s record for most goals.

He was however not upset when he was not selected for the match against Mexico and is patiently awaiting his return to the national senior men’s football team as he had been eliminated from the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifier against Mexico.

“I am most definitely looking forward to representing Jamaica in the next World Cup Qualifier,” Mattocks revealed. He seemed not to make any utterance about the president of the Jamaican Football Federation’s comment on him having a poor attitude.

The young striker is looking forward in representing his side during the next World Cup Qualifiers and also revealed that he was training hard and praised the coaching staff for selecting a great squad.
