Africa Preparations for the 2014 World Cup : Equatorial Guinea calls Togo for a friendly match!

Togo is facing on June 9 Cameroon in the World Cup qualifying in 2014. While the meeting approaching very few information is circulating on the preparation of the Hawks. Moreover, the different parties are still struggling to agree on a common list of players to call for the next challenge.

According to a preparation program established by Coach Didier Six, it would be a gathering of all the players on May 30 to “properly prepare these meetings.” He added the importance of “delivering a friendly match on June 1 or earlier if possible.” According to our information, Equatorial Guinea had requested to play a friendly match with Togo on June 4. A date deemed inappropriate by the FTF.

For his part, Didier Six in search of a warm-up match was negotiating with Iraq. But with the pace of events, it seems unlikely that the Hawks find a sparring partner. The French engineer who claims a bill of 100,000 Euros seems to have tempered his enthusiasm. He does not exclude a friendly negotiation for this situation.
