FIFA published Saturday on its official website the list of candidates for the Adidas Golden Ball Confederations Cup.

Unsurprisingly, there are the Brazilians Neymar and Paulinho, the Italian Pirlo, the Spaniards Iniesta and Ramos and the Uruguayan Suarez.

The Brazilian and Spanish players in the list still have a match to ingratiate the jury because the result will not be known until the final of the competition.

Pires and Thierry Henry were the only French to receive this award since its inception in 1992.
