Basket-ball Malick Badiane signs in Chartres

malick-badiane-300x168Malick Badiane leaves Pro B 1 for the National 1 (NM1). The Senegalese interior (high pivot-winger, 2.11 m) broke his contract by mutual agreement with Saint-Quentin and is committed to Chartres, UB announces on its website.

Away from the tartan due to injury in November after only eight matches during the 2012-2013 season (5.8 points to 57%, 4.3 rebounds in 15 minutes), Malick Badiane has chosen to revive the third division championship in French basketball. He replaces in the staff of the UBCM the American Rolan Roberts.

Also not retained by Cheikh Sarr among the twelve Lions to defend the colors of Senegal in Afrobasket, Badian (29), the 44th pick in the draft in 2003, announced the end of his international career.
