Twenty four teams from different parts of Lagos State are expected to take part in this year’s edition of CY Unity Cup.
The competition which starts on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Ogundele Primary School Football Pitch, Mafoluku, Lagos, will see the teams divided into six groups with two teams and best placed sides progressing into the second round.
According to the chairman of the organizing committee, Cyprian Ukpai, the sponsors, Chemstar Paints Nigeria Limited, desires to make this year’s edition one to remember for a long time.
“The sponsors are determined to raise the bar from the lofty standards of the last years. Everyone is going to have an unforgettable tournament,” he said.
