Ghana Prince Boateng happy to have scored for Ghana

Ghana+v+Australia+Group+2010+FIFA+World+Cup+FzoUw30gyZQlGhana star Kevin Prince Boateng is happy to have scored upon return to the national squad after missing a great part of Ghana’s qualifying campaign due to his premature decision to retire from international football.
The Bundesliga Schalke 04 midfielder managed to pull out a goal out of Black Stars’ 2-1 loss to Egypt on Tuesday after enjoying a place on bench as substitute.
Injury did not allow the former AC Milan star to contribute to the Black Stars’ slaughtering 6-1 win over the Pharaohs during their first leg tie at the Baba Yara Stadium at Kumasi last month.
That’s why his contribution to the third consecutive World Cup qualification of Ghana by scoring in Cairo made him very happy.
“I am very happy, thank you,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com after the game in Cairo.

“It is always good to score and I am very very happy that we can go [to the World Cup].”
