The official song of the World Cup was unveiled last January. It’s called “We are one” and will be performed by American rapper Pitbull in featuring with the sultry Jennifer Lopez and the famous Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte.

Besides this song, there is also that of those who denounce the organization of this great event by the country of Pele. Composed by the singer Edu Krieger, it was put online on March 14 and reflects the disappointment of those who think that the money invested in the organization of the World could have used for something else in a country where poverty still reigns.

“Excuse me, Neymar / But during this Cup I will not support you / I’m tired of seeing my people perish gradually watching TV / While FIFA is making rules, thieves lead us / And distort game to win / Neymar Excuse me, this time I will not support you”, these are the first two verses of the song against the World Cup. Monday morning, it had collected over 60,000 views on Youtube. Thursday, it is going up to 74,000.
