The Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen would have agreed a summer move from Lille to the Italian Serie A, Napoli.

It’s reportedly said that the 21-year-old Nigerian will sign a five-year deal with Gennaro Gattuso’s side. He has agreed on four million euros ( over 1.7 billion naira) as annual salary apart from bonuses.

It has now appeared that Naples has won the race for the striker who has been tipped to join either Tottenham or Liverpool in the English Premier League.

Lille president, Gerard Lopez confirmed a few days ago that the club received several offers. But they will only do business for the right money.

“We turned down one English and one Spanish offer this January transfer window. There is a wide array. And I wouldn’t want to give the names of the clubs that are bidding. But what I can tell you is that there are multiple [offers]. There are three championships that have clubs that have bid for him.” Lopez told Sportsmail.

Osimhen joined Lille from Charleroi in a ten million pounds deal last summer to sign the player last season. It was for the replacement of the Ivorian international, Nikolas Pepe who departed from Arsenal for 72 million pounds. 

Osimhen enjoyed impressive debut season for the Christopher Galtier’s men, scoring 18 goals in 30 appearances. He was named Club’s player of the season.
