Transfers Saint-Etienne keen on landing Cameroon star Vincent Aboubakar

Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar is living a tough season at Porto FC. And French top-flight side AS Saint-Etienne want to make of him their top target forward ahead of summer transfer window.

According to Peuple Vert, it is a hot folk in the offices of the Greens. As visiconferences follow one another between both parts.

The 28-year-old would have given his OK to join the club. A move that can allow Saint-Etienne Boss Claude Puel to align Denis Bouanga and Aboubakar as forwards in a 4-4-2 scheme.

A proposal of €2M is evoked to convince Liga Nos side leaders let their star to rally Ligue 1.

However, talks over are yet to be concluded as the player is not ready to reduce whats he is currently earning at Porto.

His playing time continues to come down as he featured just five times in Portuguese top-tier this season. And this could quick his move to Saint-Etienne.

Vincent Aboubakar already played for French sides the likes of Valencinnes (2010-2013) and Lorient (2013-2014).
