There is a myth surrounding the future of the current sports season in Algeria. People have been still awaiting the final decision. The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) wants a written consultation from clubs expressing their position on the situation. The Professional Football League (LFP) is againt this approach.

The president of the LFP is not the kind of having cold feet. On the waves of the national radio, Abdelkrim Medouar indicated that he is against this procedure adopted by the FAF.

“We made several alternatives proposals to this written consultation. unfortunately no one has listenined to us. Everyone in Algeria knows in advance the results of this written consultation. The majority of clubs seek their interests. Option C, that validates accession and cancels relegation, will be chosened,” he said.

As a reminder, a Extraordinary General Assembly was the Federation’s Plan A. But the interdiction of this meeting by the Ministry of Sports forced the FAF to think of plan B. Which is none other than written consultation.
