Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Tekpetey is released by Bundesliga II side Fortuna Dusseldorf, shortening his loan from Schalke 04.
Fortuna Dusseldorf released a statement on Thursday in which they announce to have parted ways with Tekpetey. Instead of two seasons loan, the Ghanaian spell just one.
“The loan from Bernard Tekpetey could now be ended prematurely because we found a solution with Schalke 04 that could fully take our economic demands into account. We wish Bernard all the best for the future. “ the club wrote on their official website.
The 22-year-old is believed to be joining Bulgarian side Ludogorets as Schalke doesn’t intend to incorporate him back in their squad.
