Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour decided to fine his players following their 1-1 draw against Al Ittihad on Monday as Egyptian Premier League resumes.
The sulphurous president has decided to sanction his players up to 100,000 Egyptian dollars. After leading in the score, Zamalek was caught later in the extra time.
The result comes after a narrow 1-0 victory over Al Masry a few days earlier. Performance that does not allow Zamalek to climb the rankings. The White Knights are 4th with 32 points after 18 games.
Meanwhile, rivals Al Ahly tops the league table 52 points.
