England Tosin Adarabioyo : Anglo-Nigerian defender Calling on Pep Guardiola

Few weeks ahead of the 2020-2021 season start, Anglo-Nigerian defender Tosin Adarabioyo is worried. According to reports, the Nigerian defender wants Pep Guardiola to decide if he has a future at Manchester City.

Adarabioyo has successful carried a loan at West Brom and Blackburn Rovers in the last two seasons. This resulting from a lack of first team opportunities at the Etihad Stadium. As John Stones, Nicolás Otamendi, Eric García, Aymeric Laporte and Fernandinho were ahead of Adarabioyo at Manchester City last season.

The former England youth international could find himself further down the pecking order. As the Citizens bringing in Nathan Ake from Bournemouth and they have been linked with a move for Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly.

Angelino and Tosin Adarabioyo need to know promptly how they figure in Guardiola’s plans. Neither player has given up hope of making it at the Etihad. But would rather sort out a good move at another top-flight team if they are to be overlooked again.” Manchester Evening News wrote

Adarabioyo has made eight appearances for Manchester City’s first team since making his professional debut against Chelsea in February 2016.
