Following the departure of some heavyweights, André Onana is now part of the staff of Ajax Amsterdam. His longevity and beautiful performances have earned him respect in the locker room.

Mohammed Kudus, the Ajax summer star, spoke on the club’s TV channel about Onana’s major role in the locker room. And the special relationship he has with the Cameroonian international goalkeeper.

“André is a great guy! A wonderful guy. He motivates me a lot. Even before I came here, he came to talk to me. He’s like a big brother to me and I love him much.” He said in an interview to Ajax TV.

André Onana joined the Dutch club in 2014 from FC Barcelona’s reserve team. Announced to leave the Ajax for several months, the Indomitable Lion is in a fifth season with the first team. And he has become a real backbone of the team.
