Nigeria England Beats Nigeria To Bukayo As Southgate Call Up Youngster

Highly rated Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has dumped Nigeria for England after he was called up by England manager Gareth Southgate.

Bukayo, a Nigerian descent was born in England and has represented the England U16, U17,U18,U19 and U21.

The winger who had a break out season with Arsenal in the 2019/2020 Premier League season was being eyed by Gernot Rohr.

However, much efforts was not made by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to lure the youngster to represent his fatherland.

Bukayo, who is currently uncapped at senior level – will be hoping to make his first senior appearance for the Three Lions.

The Three Lions will play Wales in a friendly game October 8 before facing  Belgium October 11 in the UEFA Nations League.

England will also host Denmark October 14 in their fourth UEFA Nations League group stage game.
