Moroccan winger Achraf Bencharki said his winning-goal for Zamalek against Raja Casablanca on Sunday in the first leg of the CAF Champions league, was prepared in training.
Achraf Bencharki was the hero of Zamalek as he scored the only goal that handed the Royal Club a precious win in Morocco against Raja Athletic Club.
Then, the 26-year-old revealed that his spectacular header was a product of instructions from Jaime Pacheco.
“The goal was a product of instructions from the coach and an understanding between me and teammates,” he told Bein Sports, per KingFut.
“I spoke with Zizo before the match and during training about the goal, and I managed to score.

Moreover, he dedicated the goal to Zamalek fans who could not attend stadiums due to Covid-19 restrictions.
“I dedicate the goal to all Zamalek fans. The players deserve to be congratulated for their performance, along with the technical and medical staff and the entire group.
“We played a good match, but we still have another game to play in Egypt. It’s a good result but it’s certainly not over yet,” he added.
In addition, Zamalek will take on Raja next Saturday (October 24) for the second leg in Cairo.
