Their opponent also missed a first half penalty when Wayde Lekay nonchalantly stepped up and side footed his 28th minute spot kick onto Daniel Akpeyi’s crossbar.
The final act of the first half saw Akpeyi come off his line and narrow the angle as he blocked an effort on goal from Lekay in the first half stoppage time, as the first half ended goalless.
