For the first time in the history of the CAF Champions League, the final will take place between two teams from the same country.

The African Champions League final will feature two Egyptian teams this year. After Al Ahly, it was the turn of Zamalek to get their ticket for the final. Al Ahly (8 titles) and Zamalek (5 titles) will be in clash on 27 November at the Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria. Despite the spread of the coronavirus, this major event could take place in the presence of the general public. This is what a source from the CAF told Radio Misr. According to the same source, the number of fans to attend the match will understandably be limited.
