Orlando Pirates have signed highly rated Congolese striker Jean-Marc Masuku Mundele from AS Vita on loan.

The South African giants have unveiled the 28-year-old after he passed a medical.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club have secured the services of Democratic Republic of the Congo forward Jean-Marc Makusu Mundele from AS Vita,” read a statement from Pirates.

“[Makusu] signed earlier this week after passing his medical [and] initially joins on a season-long loan, which includes the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.”

Mundele is an experienced campaigner with the national team and clubs including those in Europe.
