Africa Soccer ZAMBIA SUPER LEAGUE : BILDCON DISPLACE FOREST RANGERS AT THE SUMMIT

Buildcon FC beat Napsa Stars 2-0 on November 18 2020 to dethrone Forest Rangers at the top of the MTN/FAZ Super League standings.

Conlyde Luchanga and Mwansa Naofwa scored for Bildcon.

Following the win at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Lusaka, Bildcon have eight points from four games.

They climbed up by four steps whereas Napsa are 13th with three points from four games.

Forest Rangers dropped to second place on goal-aggregate as they also have eight points after their 0-0 stalemate with Young Green Eagles at Nkhosa Stadium.

Prison United moved from fifth to third place with seven points following a 1-0 over Green Eagles at Presidential Stadium.

Prison, fifth-placed Red Arrows and Green Eagles have seven points each.

Elsewhere, the Zambia Super League champions Nkana lost 5-0 to Green Buffaloes at Nkoloma Stadium in an ill-tempered match.

Nkana coach Manford Chabinga is reported to have fought with a fan who had attacked him while the team trailed 3-0.

Buffaloes scored through Friday Samu’s double and strikes from Martin Phiri, Fredrick Mwimazi and Youremember Banda.

Buffaloes are on sixth position with six points from four games while Nkana sit 10th with four points from four games.

Kitwe United anchor the log table with one point from four matches.

The matches played on Wednesday involved only teams that will play in the Confederation of African Football Champions League and Cup.

Supporters were allowed to watch the matches in Zambia while following Covid-19 health guidelines.
