Two African footballers have made it into the four-member shortlist for Red Bull Salzburg FC’s player of the month November 2020.

The Austrian Bundesliga champions have released the names of the shortlisted players on the club’s website.

The nominated players are Mergim Berisha, Dominik Szoboszlai, Sekou Koita from Mali and Guinean Mo Camara.

Fans can vote for the players until Wednesday.

Salzburg is also home to Zambians Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu.

MERGIM BERISHA

The German youngster led the way this month! Mergim really hit a purple patch for the first time for our Red Bulls, smashing in one goal after another. In the UEFA Champions League, in particular, he was able to stand out. Scoring two goals in two matches against Bayern Munich is something anyone would be proud to have on their CV. His goal in St. Pölten opened our deluge of goals there.

DOMINIK SZOBOSZLAI

Another month is over and Szobo is back on the short list. Why? It’s a numbers game! Our technically superb youngster has provided yet more goals and assists by the bucket load. He also smashed a hat-trick against SKN. No wonder that he is on everyone’s lips.

SEKOU KOITA
The man with thighs like pistons didn’t just celebrate his 21st birthday in November but also got his first hat-trick for the Red Bulls – within the space of just 19 minutes after being substituted on against St. Pölten. The man from Mali has made himself a very dependable regular.

MO CAMARA
The reigning champion – Mo won the award for Player of the Month for October, and continued in November where he left off. He started both Champions League matches in the month, and came on as a substitute twice in the Austrian Bundesliga.
