Egypt Tunisian Defender Seif Teka Officially Joined Ceramica Cleopatra On Free Transfer

Ceramica Cleopatra have completed the signing of Tunisian defender Seif Teka from CS Chebba on a free transfer. The Tunisian centre-back becomes Ceramica’s first winter signing after the club’s impressive start to the Egyptian Premier League.

The club was only promoted this season. And they managed to win their opening two games. they beat Entag El-Harby and Bank Al Ahly, before falling to a 1-0 defeat to Pyramids FC.

They made a number of high profile signings in the summer. Most notably Mohamed Ibrahim, Kwame Bonsu, Saleh Gomaa, Mohamed Hassan, Amer Amer, Ragab Bakar, Mido Gaber, Fonsinho, and many more. And they continued their reinforcement with the signing of Tunisian centre-back Seif Teka from Tunisian side CS Chebba.

Teka started his career at Tunisian club US Monastir, before making a big move to Club Africain in 2012. He won one league title with them as well as two Tunisian Cups. Six years later, he moved to French club RC Lens. But lasted only one season, before leaving for a free to join CS Chebba.

The 29-year-old will now join Cleopatra FC on a free transfer, signing a two-year deal as the club continue to bolster their squad.

Last season, he made 11 appearances for Chebba, helping them keep four clean sheets. As they finished the league on eighth place and reached the final of the Tunisian Cup.

Teka becomes the latest Tunisian to play in the Egyptian Premier League this season. Joining the likes of Ali Maaloul, Ferjani Sassi, Seifeddine Jaziri, Rafik Kabou, Amor Layouni, Fakhreddine Ben Youssef, Marouane Sahraoui, Iheb Mbarki, to name a few.
