Africa Soccer GHANA : DANISH SIDE HAILS BLACK STARS WONDERKID

FC Nordsjaelland have described the call-up of attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana to the Ghana’s Black Stars squad as among the Danish Super League giants’ success stories for the year 2020.

Nordsjaelland have commented on the Ghanaian hotshot in a New Year message posted on the club’s website.

We are also extremely proud that in 2020, Kamaldeen Sulemana made his debut for Ghana’s A national team at just 18 years old, making him the youngest debutant for “the Black Stars” in 20 years.

“Magnus Kofod Andersen and Peter Vindahl Jensen helped to qualify Denmark for the U21 European Championships in 2021. Several of our former academy players in Andreas Skov Olsen, Mikkel Damsgaard, Victor Nelsson and Andreas Maxsø made their Danish A national team debut in 2020 – under the new national coach Kasper Hjulmand, which we can probably afford to be proud of.

“This is us every time a current or former FCN player is successful, because it confirms our belief that our model is the right one. We create class players and role models in our environment who can both do well with us and raise the level in other clubs and countries on and off the field,” the club said in its message.

Last year, Sulemana described his maiden Ghana call-up as a dream come true following his inclusion in a 23-man squad for a friendly fixture against Mali on October 9 2021.
