Zimbabwe league champions, FC Platinum, bowed out of the CAF Confederation Cup after losing 1-0 on Sunday and 2-0 on aggregate in Senegal to ASC Jaraaf.
Defender Madicke Kane scored the lone goal of the second leg match via a superbly taken free-kick at the Stade Lat Dior.
Platinum had their backs to the wall having lost 0-1 in the first leg match played in Harare.
As if the first-leg loss was not enough setback, Platinum were hit by injuries.
Platinum midfielders Kelvin Madzongwe, William Sitima and captain Madzongwe were ruled out of the second-leg clash due to injuries.
Madzongwe picked up a back strain in the loss to Jaraaf and is expected to go for a scan in two weeks.
