Smouha chairman Farag Amer has claimed that he is preparing to make a sensational sale deal of his first team’s star striker Hossam Hassan. This operation should happen after the conclusion of his loan period with Ahli Tripoli.
Hassan has been one of the best performing strikers in Egypt over the past few years. He scored 49 goals in 154 games for Smouha to become their all-time top scorer.
Hassan is also Smouha’s all-time top goalscorer. But his time in Alexandria has come to an end as he has completed a move to Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli on Thursday.
“Ahli Tripoli are on great terms with one of the top clubs in the Saudi Professional League’s clubs. They spoke with me about selling Hassan to that club next season. And I affirmed that I don’t mind.” Amer told Al Shams channel.
“The player will play seven games only with Ahli Tripoli before returning to Smouha.”
The 27-year-old currently shares the top goal scorer table leadership in the Egyptian Premier League with Tala’a El-Gaish winger Ahmed Samir, with nine goals for each.
