Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have officially unveiled the date of the 2021 Egyptian Super Cup. EFA decided this following a meeting the competitions’ committee held on Thursday.

The EFA have released on Thursday the dates and times of the Egyptian Premier League fixtures for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.

Additionally, the dates of Egypt Cup games and the Egyptian Super Cup, which was postponed several times, were also announced.

League and cup champions Al Ahly are set to face Tala’a El-Gaish, cup runner-ups, on the 1st of July at 17:00 GMT at Cairo International Stadium.

Al Ahly had defeated Tala’a El-Gaish on penalties to win their first Egypt Cup title since 2017 back in December 2020.

The game was high heated between the two teams. But the Red Devils managed to edge their rivals through penalties.

ِThe Red Devils had achieved the treble last season having won the league, cup and the CAF Champions League title.
