Dstv Premiership SOUTH AFRICA : Cape Town City partner Serbian club

South Africa’s Cape Town City FC have entered into an agreement with Serbian top-flight team, FK Partizan.

The DSTV Premiership club has confirmed that Partizan officials have visited them in Cape Town to seal the agreement.

“FK Partizan’s ground breaking cooperation with Cape Town City Football Club is underway, as the delegation from Belgrade visits South Africa for the first time. The cooperation will see a number of elite African talents move to Europe in the coming year,” City FC tweeted.

Kick-Off website reported that Partizan have dispatched to South Africa a delegation of Deputy General Manager, Milorad Nikolić, director of the Youth Development, Vanja Radinović and Deputy Mr Goran Arnaut.

Cape Town City have are an ambitious club that was formed in 2016 after buying the Premiership status of Mpumalanga Black Aces.

The club has won some two trophies under coach Eric Tinkler and Benni McCarthy.

City FC have recalled Tinker as coach after releasing Dutchman Jan Olde Riekerink.

The Dutchman had succeeded the former Bafana Bafana striker McCarthy.
