Egypt FIFA charges Zamalek to pay heavy amount to former Coach Jaime Pacheco

FIFA ordered Egyptian Premier League side Zamalek SC to pay €450,000 to their former coach Jaime Pacheco.

The Portuguese manager left the White Castle in March after joining them in September 2020 and was replaced by Frenchman Patrice Carteron.

His departure was the outcome of poor results he was grinding during his last days in Cairo after losing the CAF Champions league title against arch-rivals Al Ahly.

However, Zamalek official did not pay him the remainder of his salary following his sacking, and Pacheco was claiming €1,700,000 as well as €320,000 for his assistant.

Now, FIFA have sliced the issue and told Zamalek to pay €450,000 to the Lusitanian manager and €80,000 to his assistant.

The amount, according to KingFut, should be paid within the nest 45 days starting from July 5.
