Libya are playing against Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang-led Gabon at Benina Martyrs Stadium in in Benghazi this evening.

The Group H match has kick-started the World Cup second round qualifying campaign.

Libya underwent camp training in Turkey to fine-tune for the match under the tutelage of Spanish coach Javier Clemente.

After today’s game, Libya will travel to Angola for the second match of the group whereas Gabon will host Egypt on Sunday.

Gabon coach Patrice Neveu has assembled a strong squad which the Arsenal captain Aubameyang leads.

Neveu recently described the group, which includes Egypt and Angola who are also meeting today in Cairo, as balanced.
