FIFA U20 WORLD CUP Qatar 2022:Rwanda Coach Urges Players To Do More Against Kenya

Rwanda head coach Vincent Mashami has charged his team to brace up for the game against Kenya in Sunday’s Group E Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Rwanda suffered a 1-0 loss to Mali in their opening World Cup qualifier courtesy of an Adama Traore’s 19th minute goal.

Mashami while speaking in his press conference in Kigali today said victory against Kenya will boost their chance of qualifying to Qatar 2022

Winning against Kenya will give us more chances, and we have started planning how we can win this game.

“We have to work 10 times harder than we did against Mali in order to win this game and am sure my side can do better,” he stated.

Speaking also, Rwanda captain Haruna Niyonzina said they will not give Kenya room to play their game.

 “We will not give them too much freedom, especially in the central midfield where we will not allow them to possess the ball with too much ease.

Mali is top of group E with three points, two more than Kenya and Uganda while Rwanda trail the group pointless.
