FIFA U20 WORLD CUP Super Eagles Camp Comes Alive With Ejuke Arrival

Super Eagles camp has come alive as players began arriving for the double header 2021 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic(CAR).

CSKA Moscow midfielder, Chidera Ejuke was the first player to arrive the Super Eagles Lagos camp on Monday.

More players are expected to arrive later on Monday with Union Berlin’s forward, Taiwo Awoniyi who was called up to replace injured  Lorient forward Terem Moffi.

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr had invited Moffi to replace injured Alex Iwobi, unfortunately, he also picked up an injury which ruled him out.

Moffi was named as replacement for Everton winger Alex Iwobi on Friday.

Awoniyi who has scored five goals in seven league appearances wilfor Union Berlin this season.

The Super Eagles will take on CAR at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos on October 7 before facing same opponent three days later in Douala.
