The Super Eagle is living a different season compared to what he went through during his first one in 2020 with injuries hindering his adaptation.

Now that he settled himself inn the league and in the squad, Osimhen has been praised by Naples manager who likened him to 1995 Ballon d’Or winner and current Liberia president George Weah.

“He [Osimhen] reminds me of Weah. It’s probably less technical, but just as strong in terms of quality”, Spaletti said.

“He also reminds me of Van Basten, but he’s more technical. Osimhen is young and can reach these levels.”
