Qatar 2022 Kenya’s Harambee Stars can spoil Uganda’s Cranes party—Micho

Uganda coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has warned the Cranes to expect eliminated Kenya ‘to spoil the Cranes party’ when the two teams meet on November 11 2021 in a Group E clash of the World Cup qualifiers.

We need to take every match as it is and we are now focusing on the game against Kenya. They will come with pride and ready to spoil the party like they have done before against the Cranes. We are preparing ourselves in the best way possible. We only ask for support from every stakeholder,” Micho told Uganda FA website.

He said this after resuming training with a 28-member provisional squad over the weekend ahead of the World Cup qualifying matches, including against group leaders Mali away on November 14 2021.

Last month, the Cranes beat bottom-placed Rwanda at home and away to brighten their chances of qualifying to the next stage of the World Cup qualifiers for Africa.

Now, the Cranes need maximum points in the remaining two games to advance to the next stages of the qualifiers that will produce five World Cup finalists.

Mali lead the table on 10 points two points ahead of Uganda whereas Kenya and Rwanda have two and one point each.

Meanwhile, Uganda have since resumed training at Lugogo stadium in Kampala.
