Nigerian Players abroad Dennis, Troost-Ekong,Onyeka In Action In Brentford Watford Game

The trio of Nigeria players Emmanuel Dennis, William Troost-Ekong and Frank Onyeka were involved in action in Friday’s Premier League game between Brentford and Watford.

Brentford welcomed Watford to the Brentford Community Stadium in the first Premier League meeting between both teams.

Dennis was on target for Watford as he scored in the 24th minute to give the Hornets the lead.

His goal saw him became the second most played that has been directly involved in 12 goals this season in the Premier League for their club after Mohamed Salah.

He has scored seven goals with five assists for the Hornets as he was substituted in the 90th minute.

His compatriot, Troost-Ekong gave away a last minute penalty after be tripped on Saman Ghoddos.

Onyeka came off the bench for Rico Henry in the 77th minute as Pontus Jansson and Bryan Mbeumo scored in the 84th and 90+4 minute respectively to hand Brentford the victory.
