Egypt EFA Officially Confirmed 60,000 Fans Allowed For Egypt Vs Senegal In Cairo

Egypt are hosting Senegal for the first leg of the 2022 World Cup play-offs. And the Pharaohs will be aiming to secure their second World Cup qualification in a row when they face the Teranga Lions in Cairo International Stadium.

However, the task will not be easy as the AFCON title-holders Senegal proved to be a force to be reckoned with.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) stated a few days ago that they will be requesting fans’ attendance in the first leg they will host in order to motivate the national team.

Hence, the Ministry of Youth and Sports confirmed this Tuesday the request was approved. And 60,000 supporters are allowed to attend the game in Cairo.

The first leg is scheduled to take place on the 25th of March at 15:00 GMT. The return leg will take place four days later at 15:00 GMT on the 29th of the same month.
