Women's AFCON Namibia’s Gladiators v Zambia’s Copper Queens: Confirmed Line- Ups

Namibia’s Brave Gladiators are hosting Zambia’s Copper Queens this Tuesday afternoon in South Africa.

The two teams are meeting in the return leg of the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers.

Zambia hosted Namibia last week in Lusaka where the game ended goalless at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

Namibia’s squad comprise star players such as Turkey-based striker Zenatha Coleman and Germany-based Veweziwe Katipoti.

Namibia have been training at Wits University’s Sturrock Stadium in Johannesburg ahead of the matches against Zambia.

Zambia have a strong squad comprising the likes of Grace Chanda and Maylan Mulenga who can be handy on their day.

However, the Copper Queens will be without star striker Barbra Banda who also missed the first leg due to an injury.

The overall winner over the two legs will qualify for the AWCON finals that will run from July 2 to 23 in Morocco.

The women’s AFCON will also serve as the African qualifiers for the Women’s World Cup which Australia and New Zealand will co-host next year.
