Nigeria Super Eagles Camp Update: Maduka Out, Noble In As 21 Players Arrive

With few days left for the Ghana and Nigeria FIFA World Cup playoff, head coach of the Super Eagles Augustine Eguavoen has replaced Maduka Okoye with John Noble.

The decision became imperative after Maduka withdrew from the squad due to illness.

The Spartan Rotterdam goalkeeper will now be replaced with Noble who also sustained injury during Enyimba NPFL game.

Maduka last action for the Super Eagles was the in the Africa Cup of Nations against Tunisia.

In another development, more players have arrived the Super Eagles Abuja camp ahead of the first leg of the Qatar 2022 World Cup play-off.

Villarreal winger, Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen’s arrival took the numbers of player already in camp to 21.
