Africa Soccer Otto Addo : Black Stars coach makes BOLD claim ahead of Nigeria vs Ghana clash

Otto Addo

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has made a courageous claim ahead of the Nigeria vs Ghana in Abuja on Tuesday to know who makes it through to 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Black Stars and Super Eagles shared spoils in Kumasi in the first leg as they played out a goalless draw.

The reverse fixture in Abuja on Tuesday is going to be a game of one’s life in a warm atmosphere as 60,000 fans are allowed to attend Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

Ahead of that important feature, Otto Addo said the draw in Kumasi won’t change anything as Ghana can beat Nigeria in Abuja.

“The result doesn’t change anything. When we go there we want to win”, Addo said, as per GSN.

“Even though our Africa Cup of Nations was not good this year, you saw we matched Nigeria in the first leg,” said the former Black Star.

“So I don’t see them as favourites, the pressure will be on them at home and away goals can hurt a lot.”

As a reminder, Ghana missed the 2018 World Cup in Russia while Nigeria were knocked out as the remainder of African nations from the group stages.
