Africa Soccer Al Ahly thump ES Setif to put one foot into CAF Champions League final

CAF Champions League holders Al Ahly thumped ES Setif 4-0 on Saturday evening in the semifinal first leg match at At Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo.

The result saw the Egyptians put one foot into the final of the continental event for the third time in a row thanks to a brace from South African Percy Tau.

The Pitso Mosimane side need any draw against Setif to sail through to the final.

Al Ahly await the winner of another semifinal tie between Petro de Luanda and Wydad. South African striker Percy Tau scored for Al-Ahly in the 30th minute, then Taher Mohamed Taher added the second goal in the 54th minute, and Mohamed Sharif secured the third goal in the 72nd minute, then Percy Tau completed his brace
