The group stages of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) 2022 are over with the quarter-finals fixtures being known as Nigeria inherit Cameroon in the next round.
The Super Eagles ended the group stages in style with a 4-0 victory over Burundi on Sunday night as Uchenu Kanu bagged a brace.
Randy Waldrum’s girls who ended at the second position in Group C will take on Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses in the next round.
On the other, South Africa who were undoubtedly the best team in this first round will face off with Tunisia in quarter-finals.
