Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is living his last hours in Barcelona as his transfer to Premier League side Chelsea FC is set to be completed.

The 33-year old joined Barcelona on a free transfer last year after Arsenal terminated his contract.

Auba blossomed as no one expected in Catalunya helping the club securing back a Champions league post as they ended 2nd behind Real Madrid in La Liga table.

However, PEA could no longer remain in Xavi Hernandez’s workforce as the club signed Polish lethal striker Robert Lewandowski who is now their number one centre-forward choice.

Even though Aubameyang was ready to stay and fight for his place, the club sees Chelsea approach as an opportunity to beef up their economy.

Now everything is ok for him to leave Barcelona as Fabrizio Romano confirmed a full agreement between the Spanish giants and Chelsea.

The Blues will pay €14m to Barcelona adding to Marcos Alonso who is included in the deal.

Auba will sign a two-year deal plus a year in option with Chelsea and reunite with Thomas Tuchel, his former manager in Borussia Dortmund in London where he is expected this afternoon to under his medical.
