Liverpool officials have been criticized by a well-kown Premier League who thinks selling Sadio Mane is one of the worst decisions he has ever seen in recent years.

The Senegal international left Anfield earlier in the summer transfer window after spending six years with the Reds.

Mane’s last year at Liverpool was revealing some signs of his departure which became inevitable after the loss against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions league final (0-1).

So far, the Reds have been struggling not only in the Premier League btu also in UCL as they have been humiliated by Napoli in their first game this season (4-1) at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

Speaking on Jürgen Klopp’s side poor start to the new season, Paul Merson said Mohamed Salah and the whole team is missing Sadio Mane.

“Mohamed Salah is still Liverpool’s main man,” Merson wrote in his column, as per SPORTbible.

“But I’m worried about his form a little bit.

“Sadio Mane and Salah always played well alongside each other and pushed each on, they were like Starsky and Hutch!

“Mane’s sale was one of the worst I’ve seen in recent years, I’ll never get tired of saying this.”
