Egypt winger Mohamed Salah sets a new Champions league record as he scored a hat-trick in Liverpool’s 1-7 away win over Celtic Rangers on Wednesday night.
The 29-year old was benched by Jürgen Klopp for him to be well shape for the game against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Salah was subbed on in the 68th minute as he replaced Darwin Nunez who wrote his name on the scoresheet two minutes behind.

After coming on for the Reds, it only took Mohamed Salah seven minutes to score his first goal (75th minute).
The second one came five minutes later and the third one just one minute after the second.
According to Opta, this is the fastest hat-trick in Champions league history. A new milestone for the Pharaoh in a very particular season for the Reds who are currently 11th on Premier League table.
