Nigeria Premier League NPFL: Shooting Stars Gets First Win As Rangers Continues To Wait

The concluding games of Matchday 4 of the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL was played today in various venues .

Matchday 4 produced intriguing result and stunner with a total of 17 goal scored as Rivers United was the only team that won away from home.

Three games ended in a draw while the games between Niger Tornadoes and Enugu Rangers and Wikki Tourists versus newly promoted Doma United was the only games that failed to produce a goal.

Shooting Stars got their first win of the season with a 1-0 win over El Kanemi Warriors courtesy of Tiza Samuel

Ten minutes from the end, Samuel scored the winning goal for the Shooting Stars.

This season, Gbenga Ogunbote’s team has played four games in the Nigeria Premier Football League, winning one, drawing two, and losing one.

Rangers and the Niger Tornadoes were pushed to a 0-0 draw at the Bako Katangora Stadium.
This season, the Flying Antelopes are still winless.

At the New Jos Stadium, Lobi Stars thrashed Bayelsa United 3-0 for the day’s largest victory.

Umar Abba scored the other goal for the hosts, and Kamaga Suur netted two goals.
