On-fire Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been tipped to claim the 2023 African Footballer of the Year Award for his stellar performances since the start of the new season.
The 24-year old is having a mind-blowing season with Napoli in Italy where they dominate the Serie A with a 15-points lead on top of the league.
Osimhen is also ruling over Top scorers chart with 17 goals in 18 appearances so far.

The Nigerian start is arguably the best African player in Europe this season.
And according to former Super Eagles attacking midfielder Mutiu Adepoju , Osimhen will actually win the African POTM Award should the trophy be awarded right now.
“Nobody is at the level he is now, and I believe he still has time ahead to do more,” Adepoju told Brila FM.
“If now was the moment to pick the African best player, he will win it easily”, he added.
