AFCON AFCON U23 Qualifier: Yusuf Invites 30 Players To Camp For Guinea

Before this month’s match against Guinea in the final qualifying round for the Africa U23 Cup of Nations, head coach Salisu Yusuf has called 30 players to camp.

There are four goalkeepers on the list, along with eight defenders, ten midfielders, and eight strikers.

On Wednesday, March 22, Nigeria—which defeated Tanzania in the race’s second round—will face Guinea in the first leg of the match at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.

Prior to the contingent’s departure for the capital of Oyo State, all players have been instructed to report at the Chida Hotel in Abuja on Friday, 3 March.

The Olympic Eagles and Tanzania drew 1-1 in the second round of the series in Dar es Salaam, then a week later thrashed Tanzania 2-0 at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
