A new date has been set for the CAF Confederation Cup match between defending champions Rivers United of the Nigeria Premier Football League and DC Motema Pembe of the DR Congo.

The game had been scheduled to take place at the Goodwill Akpabio stadium in Uyo on Wednesday, but it had to be moved since the Congolese team did not show up.

The DC Motema team is expected to arrive in the nation later on Wednesday night, according to the latest information from the game’s Uyo venue, and the match has been scheduled for Thursday.

In Luanda, Angola, Rivers United defeated the same opponent in the Matchday 3 match.
