Premier League Man United makes Casemiro decision after second red card in 39 days

Manchester United have announced their stance over Casemiro red card which led the Brazilian midfielder a four-match ban.

The former Real Madrid was shown, the red after a hard tackle on Carlos Alacaraz during Red Devils goalless draw against Southampton over the weekend.

The 30-year old will miss the FA Cup clash against Fulham and three Premier League matches namely Everton, Newcastle and Brentford.

However, Manchester United announced they will not appeal for the sanction to be reduced and wil let the Real Madrid legend serve his ban.

“Manchester United have decided not to appeal against Casemiro’s red card in the 0-0 draw with Southampton”, the club wrote on their official website.

“He will be available for Thursday’s Europa League round-of-16 second leg away to Real Betis.”
