Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti announced what is next for him at Real Madrid following the club’s humiliating elimination from UEFA Champions league semi-finals.

The 14-time Champions league winner did not exist in the second leg of their double tie against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

With this loss, Ancelotti’s future is questioned at Real Madrid but the Italian coach is not thinking of anything than starting the upcoming season as the club’s boss.

“What happened tonight makes no sense. Sometimes you play against a better opponent. Now it’s time to look at next season”, he said in his post-match press conference.

“Our opponents deserved to win. They have been superior. It’s in Champions League semis, this can happen to you.

“We don’t have to make a drama. This squad has done very well this season and will do very well next season.

“No one doubts me. The president was very clear 15 days ago.

“Next season I will be here, to fight to win another Champions League.”
