Manchester United Rashford Returns To Training To Boost Man United Top Four Chase

Manchester United’s chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League have increased thanks to Marcus Rashford return to training after injury.

Rashford, an English striker who has 29 goals this year, had injured his leg on Saturday and was unable to play in the 2-0 win over Wolves.

There is good news regarding Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay, who have both returned to training,” a United statement read after Erik ten Hag’s first-team squad trained at Carrington on Wednesday.

“Our leading scorer took part in the session after missing the win over Wolves due to injury.”

McTominay, a midfielder for Scotland, hasn’t played since scoring in a 2-0 victory over Everton on April 8.

Raphael Varane, a French defender who Ten Hag said was taken off late against Wolves as a precaution, also worked out on Wednesday.

This week, Marcel Sabitzer was added to the list of players out for the remainder of the season, joining Lisandro Martinez and Donny van de Beek.

On Saturday, fourth-placed United travel to Bournemouth to continue their quest for Champions League eligibility.

United’s league season comes to an end at home against Fulham and Chelsea after their journey to the south coast.
